INDIE WEDNESDAY - The Golden Age

Indie Wednesdays - where artists, both relatively well-known and unknown, are exposed. This week's post is exactly that: a playlist composed of tracks from a mix of artists, some that you may know already and some that you have never heard of before, with unique individual styles.

Today's main feature is the Asteroids Galaxy Tour. They are one of my favorite artists of all time, and their vibrant indie/funk style with Mette Lindberg's piercing, "epitome-of-individuality" voice, is sure to send chills down any listener's spine. The music video for their hit "The Golden Age" can be seen down below.

Aside from the Asteroids, the playlist contains chill indie from Fanfarlo and the XX (thank you, Rachel), fun indie/rock from the Black Keys (probably my all-time favorite band), Arcade Fire, and rather underground indie artists like Jinja Safari and Locksley. Be sure not to miss out every single track on here because they are all worth your ears!

Enjoy and have a good week, guys.

Days of Youth - Locksley

Bam Bam - King Charles

FREEDOM FRIDAY - Back To New

I'm often asked by my peers, "If there was one genre you'd listen to for the rest of your life, what would it be?"

That, my friends, would be Electronic Dance Music.

House, electro, trance, or any of the such; I could live off them forever. There's something about listening to a dance track at three o'clock in the morning, wherever I may be, that's somehow so profound; it gets my heart beating to the pace of the bass, and adrenaline rush is suddenly such a pleasing feeling.

This week has been a good week for EDM - many releases here and there, a lot of which have truly been a pleasure listening to. This Friday, at Mousa, we present to you 10 of the best of dance - new and old tracks alike. This Freedom Friday includes a variety of EDM, ranging from progressive house, to electro. Let this Friday be your excuse for rapture. It's finally the weekend, you ought to work hard, and party harder!

After releasing the successful banger that is Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker, there's no backing down for the Swedish duo, Dada Life. It's only been less than a month since their official release of Rolling Stones T-Shirt, and now here they are with their latest music video. I hope you enjoy this video from beginning to end, the video-still in itself is already so endearing.

And to make things more exciting, here's a preview of Chuckie's take.

Also released this week, the up and rising 3LAU releases his latest remix of James Egbert's Back To New. Get your hands on this track on Beatport, every purchase goes to Pencils of Promise, a charity dedicated to building schools and increasing educational opportunities in developing countries. Show your support!

Now, let the rest of this week's Freedom Friday enlighten you for the upcoming weekend.
Daydreamers (Jack Beats Remix) - Flux Pavilion feat. Example

Some Nights (Jakob Liedholm Arena Mix) - Fun.

The Night Out (A-Trak Remix) - Martin Solveig

Closer Rev.2 - Deadmau5

Keep updated with deadmau5 by following him on Twitter, Facebook, or Soundcloud.

In the last 10 days, deadmau5 has been posting streams of his samples on Soundcloud non-stop. Like numerous DJs, deadmau5 is seen to be a mysterious wonder by many. The unpredictability of his tracks are what keeps the fans going, and we're all evidently loving this. But hey, who are we to complain?

Deadmau5 released Closer around March 2012. This second version starts out very similarly to Closer Rev. 1, then enters into a more exuberant beat. Either way, an amazing track.

And to fill you in on the samples deadmau5 has been producing, here are the ones he's released in the last 10 days.
